Rainer Wolf was a chemist all his life. For thirty years, he worked on drawings of natural motifs just as meticulously and precisely as he practiced his profession. The extreme vertical and horizontal formats of Wolf’s work and their exact reproduction on rough natural paper were a challenge in designing this book. Since all the drawings run over two pages, Swiss binding was chosen. The emblem embossed on the front cover comes in 16 variations.
